Olivia and Brendan were married on a beautiful summer day at The Ranch in Southwick MA. Olivia carefully chose and created so many of the details that pulled the story of her wedding day together and augmented the beautiful venue with bell jars, coke bottles, steer horns. Olivia, along with her bridesmaids and family got ready at the farmhouse across from where the ceremony was held. Her gown was custom made for her by a local designer, the groomsmen wore black cowboy boots and handmade boutonnières of burlap, feather, twine and fabric. More about the wedding from the photographer : Their wedding’s theme, all country and cowboy boots, was an ode to their next step as a couple – Texas. She piled antique luggage to form tables and acquired a wooden cable drum to place her guestbook on – a burlap covered board with paper hearts for each guest to sign. A couple of old windowpanes were used to tell guests which table was theirs. Her favors, local honey in jars labeled ‘Love as sweet as honey’, were placed in front of the window panes for guests. At the reception they had a grilled up dinner, they danced to country music and enjoyed a lemonade bar where they used the adorable ‘Mr’ and ‘Mrs’ lidded jars to drink from. Our sincerest thanks goes to Michelle Girard Photography for conveying all of these special details!
