I love it when brides decide to go with a slightly uncommon wedding color and this bride went with what I consider to be a underused great wedding color, olive green. This wedding is such a treat for you because not only is the Michigan wedding venue, Historic Bowens Mills on our Rustic Wedding Guide but this wedding feature also is accompanied by a really sweet video. From the bride: Our wedding was on a hot summer day in August. I chose olive green and peach for our wedding colors. I wanted to be different, but still stay true to my style. I love old, vintage things but still relevant. Most all of our wedding decorations were DIY. It was a lot of work, but so worth it because our wedding truly reflected my personal taste. Our venue was a beautiful old cider mill complete with a spinning mill in the river behind us. Everyone that we loved was there to celebrate with us and it was truly the best day of our lives!
