Alyssa and Mike are hiking and outdoor enthusiasts. When they started to plan their destination wedding they knew they wanted to have it in the mountains and in a place with spectacular natural beauty. Wolf Creek Resort in Eden, Utah turned out to be the perfect fit. Mountain vistas, sweeping country fields and a very special outdoor ceremony location were the items top on their list. Since they live in the Northeast, the planning was done long distance. They searched blogs and wedding websites for information on vendors and for decor ideas. Alyssa found many of her favorite items on Etsy, including her blue beaded shoes from an Etsy store called MDNY. The vintage license plate table numbers sprang from the idea that with guests from all over the country, they would place them at a table from the state that had meaning for them. At each place a bird’s nest with three jordan almonds represented their version of the Greek tradition “koufeta.” Thanks to Logan Walker Photography for capturing and sharing this beautiful wedding.
