You may have noticed that it has been awhile since I have featured an Ask Maggie question as a full post and there are a few reasons for that: one, in the past few months the Ask Maggie emails have taken on a life of their own and I find myself fielding anywhere between 10 and 50 emails a day and two, many of the emails are so specific that I don’t feel they have such wide reader appeal but I know you all love to hear what brides are asking my advice on so I thought this one was a good one to share.
RWC Reader: I am having my wedding on the beautiful island of Nantucket and the entire wedding will have a rustic elegant feel to it. Think driftwood centerpieces, lanterns, wildflowers and more. Since I am trying to bring in some nautical touches I thought it would be easy to find a nautical dress to go with my theme but I am stuck.
So even if you are not planning a wedding on Nantucket this idea of nautical bridesmaid dresses seems to be popping up a lot lately. I recently had another bride looking for something similar since she was planning a lakeside wedding. So here are my suggestions for bridesmaid dresses for a nautical style wedding.
