One of the many things that I love about rustic weddings is that they come in so many different shapes and sizes. Just as unique as the weddings we feature as the couples who plan them. Today I have a backyard wedding which took place at the bride’s parent home in upstate New York which has a retro feel to it. From the ring of flowers in hair (my mother wore something similar at her wedding in 1975) to the handmade dress this wedding has beautiful earthy touches. This wedding also features one of the most rustic looking wedding cakes I have seen in a while. I love the look of the chocolate icing mixed with the rustic touches.
