Sand Hills Wedding: Deb + Rob

Deb & Rob had an intimate wedding with the bride’s closest family & friends in attendance. They were married in the breezy canyon behind the brides home in the Sand Hills of Nebraska. The creek rushed past below as they exchanged vows on a small deck in a clearing in the canyon. Despite threats of rain, the open skies were beautifully dramatic but otherwise kept to themselves. The bride accessorized her short crew-neck dress with red roses and red shoes (which she swapped for red boots after the ceremony) while keeping everything else perfectly simple with a small white wristwatch and her groom’s mother’s handkerchief. With under twenty people in attendance, their wedding was beautifully intimate. For wedding favors, guests were asked to select from incredible framed landscape photographs, all taken by the brides father of the Sand Hills over the years. The reception was filled with arrangements of fresh local wildflowers foraged the morning of the wedding by their florist.
