Wanting to host a rustic chic mountain wedding, Zarah and David held their wedding at the Mt. Hood Bed & Breakfast in Oregon. Taking place outside this wedding ceremony featured the majestic mountains in the background and a beautiful mix of rustic style wedding details. From the bride: I actually resisted outright picking a theme. Instead, I hoped the outdoor garden setting with Mt. Hood in the background combined with just a few pieces of decorative flair would create an aesthetic of simple, natural beauty. One of the most memorable and emotional moments was when my parents came to get me from inside the B&B to walk down the aisle. Hugging them there before the whole public event began was very special. Being hoisted up in the air on chairs for the “Hora” or “chair dance” was also a fantastic way to end the celebration! Thanks to Hazelwood Photo for capturing and sharing this wedding with us.
The whole planning process will likely be overwhelming, so I suggest putting the most time into thinking about and fussing over the items that actually make you excited. For you that might be planning the menu, picking stationary, decorations, flowers, or anything else. For the items that don’t get you as excited, quick and practical decision making can save a lot of stress.
