This beautiful backyard do it yourself style wedding has some ideas that I know you will want to incorporate into your wedding day. In part one we saw the magical evening outdoor ceremony and the amazing wedding flowers that were put together like everything else at this wedding by the bride and groom and their helpers. Pulling off a DIY rustic wedding is not easy since you are responsible for all of the decor, flowers, food and more but when you surround yourself with people who can help than a DIY wedding is not a chore but a fun experience. Thanks again to Tin Can Photography for sharing these pictures with us. See more from this wedding. Vendor – photography: Tin Can Photography

April 30, 2012 at 6:35 pmHey, I’m Anna:) I made the dress from the fabric of two vintage dresses that were given to me and some bought fabric. I cut the lace parts off and dyed them piecing them onto my design how I wanted, and my mom helped me sew the underlying fabric. I did a little bead work on the straps and lace abdominal part. All in all the dress cost me less than $150 and the wedding was planned in less than 3 months. It was probably the most simply planned and stress-free wedding lol.

February 27, 2013 at 10:47 pmBeautful job Anna you looked gorgeous! With it all being your own personal touch right down to your own made wedding dress..amazing! My cousin is getting married early next year and she loves the bridesmaids dresses and is wanting to make something similar, did you draw up the pattern yourself, or buy the patterns? assuming you made them also?

September 24, 2012 at 9:00 pmI had my dress custom made from a seamstress on Etsy…and she did an AMAZING job! If you just give her the details and images of the dress you want, she can make it. If you’re interested, her shop is here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/AceFashion?ref=seller_info
