We love when a rustic style wedding is in a location that might not at first be considered a rustic wedding venue. This amazing wedding was held on the island of Nantucket and features some pretty amazing centerpieces, views and details. From the bride: We knew we wanted a summer wedding, and we really wanted to select a location on Nantucket that would show off the island and the views. Cocktail hour was out on the lawn overlooking the harbor, and our event planner worked with Courtney at Great Harbor to nail down every last detail. We had customized drinks (with recipes borrowed from Cisco Brewers), amazing hors d’oeuvres and a raw bar that really gave our guests the perfect taste of the island. A big thank you to Zofia & Co for sharing this beautiful wedding with us today.
Mike and I chose Nantucket because we absolutely love the island, and we wanted our friends and family who had never been to see what an amazing place it is! We are so lucky that so many people came up to the island a few days early, so we started the celebrations on the Thursday before our wedding with a casual pizza night for anyone who was already there. We invited everyone to come to one of our favorite beaches on Friday during the day, and had so much fun getting to spend time with our friends and family who joined us. The night of our rehearsal was chilly and windy, which made us nervous for the actual wedding, but the dinner and welcome party were held at Cru, which was a perfect setting right on the wharf, and gave all of our guests the opportunity to explore town a bit.
