This rustic ranch style wedding has a very rustic feel to it and combines an outdoor wedding ceremony under a tree with a barn style reception. With a vibrant orange and green color theme this wedding has a beautiful earthy color pallet which works perfectly with the location. From the bride: When I started looking for colors all I knew was that there was going to be burlap involved. For the colors I kept coming back to bright orange with green accent. I am not really sure why I choose those colors, I am not a big fan of orange but I loved it in my wedding. To keep the orange from being too overwhelming, I only did my daughters dress and Andy’s tie in the orange and then the matron of honor and best man were in green. I cut my dress to ankle length and put the same color orange as my daughters dress poking out underneath about an inch. I loved the pop of color it added. Thanks to Lindsey Gomes Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
We tried to make the day our own and enjoy it. We did first-look pictures and I would definitely recommend that. Andy and I are very private people and it felt special to have that moment. I think it calms a few of the nerves before the ceremony too. And for our guest book we had a wood and metal frame made with copper backing.
