Rustic Vintage Backyard Wedding Video

Featuring wedding pictures are the highlight of what we do here at Rustic Wedding Chic but when a video comes along like this one and brings wedding pictures to life it just makes us over the top happy. Taking place in Chattanooga, Tennessee this wedding is part vintage style, part farm style and rustic chic to the max. Here is a fun little tidbit about this wedding, the bride’s father was the officiant of the ceremony. I love this video because it shows the bride and her four sisters setting up all of the decor on the wedding day which comes out looking amazing. Thanks to FocalPoint Cinematic Weddings for sharing this wonderful video with us. Oh ya, make sure you watch it in full screen size and keep a tissue close by!

Can you tell me where the bride got her necklaces from? Everything is styled so well in this wedding…love it!

      Ana-
Thanks so much for your comment! I’m so sorry I’m just saw this message, but just in case you’re still interested: She is actually wearing all vintage pieces. My sister (the bride) loves old jewelry and so it’s all vintage or costume type jewelry. Two pieces she got from a Great Aunt and one that she found for a few dollars in a vintage shop. None of the pieces were expensive, they just had a fun look and were long enough to be dramatic- the necklaces from our Aunt served as the “borrowed” bit 🙂 Hope that helps!

I have watched this video 5 times that I can remember, and I’ve cried each time. I’m getting married in two weeks, and this is exactly the feel I want for my wedding. I’m having orange zinnias, burlap, even those adorable hooray signs. But the vows get me every time. And what her father says does too. This is such an amazing video. The music choice is fantastic, the scenes are put together beautifully, and I even showed my videographer this. I can bet that I will still cry next time I see it, it’s my favorite video by far. I can say that this video was probably one of my biggest inspirations. Thank you so much for putting this online!!!

Corrie Michelle, I LOVE your sister’s wedding! I especially love the sweaters that all of the bridesmaids wore. I’ve searched everywhere, but can’t find anything like them anywhere. If you could tell me, that’d be awesome!

Kaylin- So sorry for the delay- I didn’t see this post. We actually got the sweaters at a hodge-podge of places.
Depending on the empire or natural waist of the dress- the sweaters varied as to where we went.
The best places we found: 1) jcrew (usually has great colors and textures to choose from in the fall), 2) gap (these generally have a little more casual feel, but if you can make them more or less formal by what you pair them with)- they usually have good styles and colors in the fall too, 3) Anthropologie, they don’t always have plain sweaters, but when they do they are adorable, 4) Banana Republic, they are a bit like jcrew and often have a crew neck and v-neck selection.

We had girls in jcrew, gap, banana and anthro and one in a Dillard’s sweater- the bride had to change her anthro sweater bc the length didn’t go with the waistline- and she found hers at Dillards (department store) the day before the wedding:-)

Hope this helps and isn’t too late:-)
Don’t hesitate to let me know if you need any other info!

    Emma-

Thanks for the comment. This was my sister’s wedding and we actually had the books custom made from an etsy seller (White Silk Purse). She did a wonderful job and it was actually a really good deal. Plus she does custom orders so if it can be done, she’ll try it.
    Here’s her link: http://www.etsy.com/shop/whitesilkpurse
(They have a few different vendors on etsy.com that offer this service)

    Hope this helps!

Yes you do need the tissues for this one…it’s gorgeous!

Does anyone have any idea where the couple got those amazing books with the folded pages? They are fantastic.

    Cheers,

    Emma
