Planning a country style farm wedding takes creativity and this unique wedding is filled with great ideas. First off, this couple chose a schoolhouse as their wedding venue and added in just tons of personal details that made the day one-of-a-kind. From the photographer: Matthew and Pam got married in the tiny school house in the Port Oneida area of the Sleeping Bear National Lakeshore, this wedding was so much fun! Not only is Pam a teacher, but Matthew works with water and natural space restoration in the Northern Michigan area–education and they love Northern Michigan. The day the married in Leelanau County was gorgeous–the heat wave of earlier in the week broke and we had sunny skies and temperatures topping out around 70 degrees. Matthew is from Arizona originally and Pam is from Michigan. They wanted to get married in a place that reflected their mutual love for the outdoors and all things nature–the Port Oneida Schoolhouse in the National Lakeshore was a perfect spot! Thanks to Emily Alt Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
