Perfection is the word we have been using for this wedding since we first saw the magical wedding pictures. Taking place on the groom’s family farm, this wedding is nothing less than amazing and we know you will fall head over heels in love with it the way we did. From the photographer: This venue was perfect. It had everything that one could want out of a venue with rustic charm and beautiful grounds. Some of my favorite details: The inside of their home was covered in antlers and other rustic/chic pieces The ceremony space itself was built by his father! Connected was a perfect cocktail hour space including a fireplace and a covered outdoor space Their reception was in a barn down the hill, the couple marched all of their guests down after the cocktail hour Each son and his wife planted a tree on their wedding day Once cocktail hour ended Elaine and Kerrin marched everyone down to the dinner tent! The reception was unique as they did not have your typical dancing, but had wine and cheese tastings, a photo booth, a caramel apple station and a theater with love scenes from their favorite movies playing. They planned all of this in 3 months! Thanks to Rachel Rowland Photography for shooting and sharing this wedding.
From the bride: Burlap and blues dominated the space. My mom made all the wreaths, aisle jars and table arrangements featuring hydrangeas. My mom made all the pennants (for the cards, cake table and barn). My dad found a poplar on his property and cut it in slices for our little logs on the table. My parents were devoted to stringing all those lights in the barn, which provided an amazing frame for our first dance.
