This charming southern wedding took place in Charleston at The River House, a beautiful South Carolina wedding venue. The bride tells us: We wanted a rather small, intimate ceremony with a great party afterward. In keeping with the rustic/antique theme of the wedding I choose mint green for the bridesmaid dresses which added a little color while remaining subtle. I kept the flowers simple yet beautiful with ivory and blush pink for the bouquets and baby’s breath boutonnieres. For the reception we wanted to have a very laid-back feel, so we had serving stations with a good variety of delicious Southern food. A beautiful, lively wedding with the bridesmaids and bride in cowboy boots under elegant long dresses. The Charleston plantation offered a dramatic setting for the outdoor ceremony and reception. Southern food and late night sparklers made this country wedding a true classic. Thanks to Richard Bell Photography for sharing this beautiful wedding.
