Get ready to travel South because this romantic and elegant wedding inspiration will have you reaching for your bags and heading to South Carolina. From the photographer: We drew inspiration for the styled shoot from the idea of a southern winter wedding. So many brides that come to Charleston typically steer clear of the winter months for their wedding day, as they come here for the warmer climate and outdoor weddings. Our goal for the shoot to was to show how you can still achieve a romantic atmosphere, in an outdoor, natural and rustic setting. To accomplish our vision, we payed very close attention to the smallest of details that were implemented. Some of those details included stunning winter-inspired floral arrangements made of italian ruscus garland, wax flower, silver dollar eucalyptus and white garden roses that adorned the head table. Thank you to Two if By Sea Charleston for sharing this amazing rustic wedding inspiration shoot with us today!
The semi-naked olive oil cake was truly a work of art, including a homemade cranberry jam and orange-scented buttercream icing. We personalized the shoot with creative escort cards and luggage tag place cards inspired by the natural surroundings. We also included vintage pieces with a modern flair like the beautiful armoire we had repurposed as well as the beautiful oak plate chargers we had custom made for the shoot.
