Mixing in details like surf boards and hints from the bride and groom’s time living in Hawaii this wedding combines a rustic location with an island feel! From the wedding planner, Honey & Twine Weddings and Events : Nick and Megan breezed into our first meeting wearing sandals and smiles. They were living in Hawaii at the time, and we could feel the warmth they brought from their island home. They had decided to have their wedding on Nick’s parents’ property in Woodside. It would be a country wedding, but they wanted to give a nod to their Hawaiian experience as well. So we came up with their theme: Howdy Aloha! Country with a touch of island. They chose yellow and blue for their colors, to represent the sand and the sea. Their wedding featured surf board signs and surfboard corn hole in the games area, honey bears wearing leis and grass skirts, and hay bales and a fire engine bar! Thanks to Bergreen Photography for sharing this wonderful wedding with us today.
