Hold onto your wedding planning hats because this wedding is about to blow you away! Taking place at a rustic New York wedding venue called The Fontainebleau Inn this wedding has one of the best natural backdrops I have seen, from the lake to the boat this wedding is just stunning. One of the first details I was drawn to in this wedding was the amazing wedding gown in a off white color by Leanne Marshall who I met last year and you can see my interview with her here. Thanks so much to the amazing Sarah Tew Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
I had the bridesmaids choose their own dresses in various shades of blue and green, since I loved the idea of an array of color, and each of them incorporating their own style. The pinwheel motif went along with my love of color and kitsch, so I took that idea and ran with it, The bridesmaids carried pinwheels and wore them in their hair. The centerpieces had pinwheels. My bouquet incorporated pinwheels. The wedding favors? Pinwheel cookies.
In choosing my dress, I knew that I wanted something with a unique shape with a vintage feel. I chose Leanne Marshall’s Marlena dress. I love it so much that I’m having it shortened to wear again!
