There really is nothing like a rustic country wedding. This stunning wedding was held at the rustic Virginia wedding venue, Riverside On The Potomac and features not only great barn wedding ideas but lovely purple themed wedding ideas. The wedding ceremony had to be moved indoors due to rain, but the weather was no problem for Candace and Spencer. Their happy and laid-back vibe carried the day, and their joy at being surrounded by friends and family was so evident. Candace got to have two “First Looks”–one with her Dad and brother and one with Spencer. As she and Spencer walked down the aisle, their guests showered them with lavender and applause. Thanks to Rachael Foster Photography for sharing this wedding with us.
There are tons of delicious details to drool over, but I especially love Candace’s engagement ring, which she and Spencer designed using black diamond and rubies from her grandmother. The place cards, table numbers, and signage were all DIY (Candace’s dad helped with the woodworking). Jelly jar favors were purchased on Etsy, and antique decor was rented from the venue.
