A small wedding pulled together in record time is what sums up today’s real wedding expect after looking at these images you will not get over the fact that it was planned in a time crunch. Every detail is perfectly in place and the fun restaurant wedding venue makes for the perfect backdrop. From the planner: The average wedding planner spends about a year planning a client’s wedding; we may have set a record of three weeks! Our sweet clients Mat and Jordan were up for the challenge! The wedding planning evolved from a small garden wedding of 10 to a full four-course meal with dancing for nearly 30 guests. We found a perfect venue, Gather McKinney – restaurant by day and venue by night. The space is nestled amongst McKinney’s historic downtown district in an old warehouse. In three weeks, we planned a wedding full of the sweetest details! Mat and Jordan wanted to reuse the decor, so we insured we selected items they could delegate in rooms around their home. We love creative couples, and Mat and Jordan were certainly creative and not afraid of a DIY project. They chose recycled wine bottles for candleholders, stamped paper bags for the flower petal sendoff and hand painted a variety of Y’s they found at craft stores. Needless to say, these two were busy during our three-week planning stretch! Thanks to Southern Social and Whitney Bennett Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
