If you think you can’t plan a beautiful country style wedding for under $7,000 you might need to think again because this real wedding was pulled off for just that. Wanting to keep the budget a realistic goal this awesome bride got to work planning her wedding and made her dreams come true all the while not breaking the bank.
From the Bride: Most girls dream of big, extravagant weddings; chandeliers, fine China & ball gowns dripping in diamonds. My dream was much simpler. Within days of our proposal, we had a venue, date & pastor booked. Once we had our theme & colors finalized, I got to work. Pinterest was a big inspiration for our wedding. Our budget was $7,000 (or less). The centerpieces were 100% homemade. We collected cans for weeks, then I spray painted them different shades of gold & hot glued laced around the middle. Because I wasn’t too worried about everything being perfectly matching, our wedding decor came from Michael’s, my grandmother’s house, & one particular friend let us raid her antique shop. Our flower girl (our daughter) wore an adorable dress found on Etsy & our ring barriers (our son & nephew) wore Old Navy & The Children’s Place. My simple yet stunning dress was purchased from Bebe for $160.00! A family friend built the cross we stood before & my mom put together the flower arrangements, including my bouquet. Our wedding day was beautiful, simple, elegant, happy, effortless, Godly, and everything we hoped it would be. We can’t thank Kristen Curette Photography enough for sharing this amazing wedding with us.
