If you are looking for a wedding that pulls in aspects of a vintage wedding, a farm wedding and a rustic wedding than you are in luck because this real wedding is the perfect one! With a vintage feel, this western style rustic wedding took place on a farm and offers some amazing DIY wedding ideas. Blakslee and her bridesmaids, along with several other friends and family members got together over the course of a weekend and created every little detail of decoration. Examples include: Hand painted signs, a chalk painted menu board, a chalk painted door which served as the wedding program at the ceremony site, and bunting, bunting, bunting. It was a major theme of the wedding, from the invitations to the trim on the tent. There was over 150 feet of bunting that Blakslee sewed on twine!

January 4, 2013 at 12:20 amHi Blakslee–
I’m completely inspired by what you did with your wedding — beautiful!
I wonder if you might share with me the venue? I’m searching all over the place for the perfect rustic western locations in Colorado, Wyoming, Utah, Idaho or California and having trouble finding a great spot — would love any advice you might provide.
Thanks!!
