Part rustic and part vintage, this wedding showcases lovely details, a beautiful location and a simplicity we can’t get enough of. From the photographer: On a 75 degree Saturday, light clouds rolled in and out of the harbor as the seabreeze filled our noses with the sweet smell of salt. Cape Cod is a magical place, as everyone who has vacationed there can attest to. Laura & Alex grew up on the Cape, and first met going to local music shows. After losing touch and moving to Boston after a few years, fate brought them back together, and a romance blossomed. Thanks to Lena Mirisola Photography for sharing this lovely wedding with us today.

Wrapped around Laura’s colorful bouquet was her grandmother’s jewelry and a swatch of fabric from her grandfather’s shirt. Laura met Alex at the ceremony, both shedding tears. The love was overwhelming. The reception was wonderfully laid back, with guests gathering to hang out in Adirondack chairs on the lawn, dancing with the family, eating cake and salt water taffy from Laura’s mother’s 1856 Country Store in Centerville, and socializing with all their friends and family. The couple headed off to an afterparty before jetting off to their Bermudan honeymoon!
