I usually save the rustic engagement sessions for the weekends but this one is packed with so much inspiration that I decided to feature it midweek. This vintage style engagement session took place at Laurita Winery in New Jersey and features a few vintage items teamed up with a picnic style lunch. Here is a little information about the engagement from the bride to be: We were sitting in the back of a NYC taxi cab at 3am when we first decided we would start a life together. We had been dating for about a month and he had just met my friends for the first time. I am not sure if it was the wine we had at dinner or the euphoric feeling of watching my best friends in the world get along with my new boyfriend, but something gave me the courage to say: “I want to get married. Well, not to just anyone. To you.” As I readied myself to die of humiliation from my way-too-soon revelation, he didn’t so much as flinch and said back to me: “I’ve loved you since our second date. I think we should get engaged this year.” And just like that our fate was sealed. 11 months later and on the year anniversary of our 1st date, George proposed.
