Hosting your wedding at a vineyard wedding venue might seem like a magical place and this wedding will just prove that fact even more. This wedding took place at the Reyes Winery in California and showcases a stunning outdoor ceremony followed by a truly amazing DIY reception. From the bride: I’ve always loved little details and have great patience for making them from scratch. My favorite colors were always earth tones and anything rustic. I loved that my wedding would be a wonderful artistic outlet. Though invitations are something people usually throw away, for me it was a chance to be artistic. It’s the knowledge that I made it with my own hands that is so satisfying. Buying them pre-made was not even an option because they wouldn’t have the personal touches that I would want them to have. I’m so happy I was able to add meaningful dates and images that were special to us. Thanks to Lukas & Suzy VanDyke for sharing this one-of-a-kind wedding.
The reception was a few feet away from the ceremony. Candles and lights. The sunset that day was amazing and the sky had gorgeous hues of red and orange with the mountains in the background. We kept looking at the whole thing and marveling at how everything had come together and it had all been worth it.
