Bright colors, a DIY mindset and a stunning mountain wedding location all adds to today’s spectacular real rustic wedding. The bride always dreamed of getting married in the town where she had spent all of her summers and that dream came true when she planned the rustic wedding of her dreams. The bride describes her day as being “perfect because it was us”, you can’t ask for anything more than that! Thanks to Birke Photography for sharing this amazing wedding with us today.
I love color and found it next to impossible to pick two so I went with a pretty natural theme, with some punches of pinks and orange thrown in. Peonies were my inspiration for the bridesmaid dresses- I asked them to wear a pink dress of their choosing and boots, to go with the rustic country theme. Instead of renting linen, we decided to use the hundreds of cloth napkins my stepmother and I owned, which gave each of the 19 tables their own color theme. Russ and I kept every glass bottle and mason jar we came across from the time we got engaged until our wedding day and used those for the centerpieces. Twenty plus women came together on Saturday morning to make the centerpieces using the bottle collection and the buckets of flowers
