Choosing to host their wedding in the backyard of the brides grandmother is just the first of many right decisions this couple made. There is something so magical about this wedding. I am not sure if it is the outdoor setting or the simple rustic elegance but this wedding has really hooked me. From the photographer: Kate and Martin both work at wineries in the Alexander Valley. Their wedding took place at Kate’s grandmothers house. Kate did everything! She and her sister did the flowers, The menu and the programs. Martin made beer for the special occasion. When it came time to cut the cake they used Kate’s Great Grandfathers sworn from WWI . This was truly a family event. Each table was named after places they had traveled to.
