Fall Wedding Ideas

When planing a fall wedding it is so easy to get to get overwhelmed and not know exactly what direction to go in. Here are a few fall wedding ideas for a rustic wedding to help you focus your thoughts and start planning a fall wedding that will reflect your style. I know so many brides who start to plan a fall wedding and begin to throw everything fall-like (leaves, apples, pumpkins, harvest colors) into the wedding decor which can start to look cluttered and actually lose some of it beauty. Sometimes the less is more theory works really well for a wedding and I really feel that idea works great for the fall wedding decor.
Pick A Great Location
We all know that picking the location is half the battle in wedding planning but when you are planning a rustic fall wedding I always suggest you look for a place that has both indoor and outdoor options. Fall temperature can swing anywhere between extremely hot and very cold. The Huron Substation in Los Angeles is a great example of the type of location I think would work for a fall wedding. With both an indoor area complete with old barn doors and built in 1906, this space also offers a courtyard area which can be dressed up for the fall season.

Head To The Farmer’s Market
There are farmer’s markets located all over the country which are a great resource for things like pumpkins and apples. Instead of flowers think of having your centerpieces filled with fall favorites. We all know that pumpkins come in orange but there are also “Boo Pumpkins” which are all white and when stacked up in a vintage style vase they are stunning.

An Apple A Day

Think about using apples as your place card holder. Guests will be charmed by both the practically of it but also that they get to take home a little taste of fall. Using apples as a place card holder is also a really great DIY project that is fun to do with your bridesmaids leading up to the big day.

Pie

Pie, the ultimate comfort food and seems to be synonymous with the fall season is one of the hottest trends out there right now in wedding desserts. Think about having a full “pie bar” where guests can pick their favorite flavor or end the evening by giving all your guest a mini pie to take home. These mini pies come from I Heart Pie in LA and are just so sweet and your guest will not be disappointed!

Howdy! I know this is kinda off topic but I was wondering if you knew where I could locate a captcha plugin for my comment form?
I’m using the same blog platform as yours and I’m having trouble finding one?
Thanks a lot!
