To Catch A Thief Dress Update

Last week I did a post on how Grace Kelly’s dress from the movie “To Catch A Thief” would make a wonderful wedding gown and I featured a beautiful dress designed by our friend, Veronica Sheaffer which was a inspired by this movie. I am so excited because today I get to show you the pictures of that dress “in action”. Thanks to Heidi, the bride, we have some pictures of this amazing dress from the wedding day. This dress to me is the perfect combination of class and sophistication and I know it would be a knockout at a rustic or country wedding. I love the criss cross detail in the front and when the wind blows a tiny bit this dress looks weightless and just amazing. Thanks to both the bride and Daniel + Megan Photography for letting us see this beautiful dress on the big day.credits – photography: Daniel + Megan Photography / dress design: Veronica Sheaffer

Maureen Halter in Kansas City designed her daughter’s wedding dress 2 years ago with the same inspiration – gorgeous layers of silk chiffon. She said 20 yds. The fit of the top as well as the movement skirt was incredible.
She also designed & made the fabulous beaded belt. The bride & groom look like a movie stars.
