I love the country vibe of burlap. It makes me feel at home!
I’ve been honored with being asked to fill the role of mother of the bride for my dear sister’s beautiful daughter. She is planning a rustic barn wedding and we are busy looking for ideas that will enrich the beautiful natural environment of the historic barn she and her fiance have chosen as their venue. We love burlap because it lends a depth of texture, richness and visual beauty of its own (in a completely neutral “blank canvas” way) to whatever decorating and color scheme is chosen.
Burlap is a great material that is both beautfil and biodegradable. The texture of burlap awakens the senses of smell and touch while it is visually appealing. I can’t wait to have burlap as the fabric and theme of our wedding!

Burlap at rustic weddings has become such a staple. I love it because it is effortless and yet still so chic. Burlap never looks ostentatious, and it manages to convey a sense of relaxation because it isn’t as formal as say, silk, but still so beautiful. I love burlap at weddings and just for home decor around the house, because it is so chic and rustic looking. It is so easy to work with, and you can do so much with it. Burlap is one of the main materials in my wedding in April. You can use it for so many things! I love Burlap!!
Burlap at a wedding is beautifully natural and add so much texture! I love how light can be seen through the woven fabric and versatile it is. My favorite reason to use burlap in a wedding is decorating for a wedding a groom would appreciate and not just a girly explosion of flowers and tulle!
