Rustic New Jersey Wedding: Allie + Kevin

This lakeside rustic chic wedding is a real upbeat one thanks to it eye popping pink color theme and beautiful lakeside location. Taking place at a private club this New Jersey Rustic Wedding Venue fits the rustic style perfectly and even offered this couple a chance to have an outside ceremony followed by an indoor reception. From the bride: Having a traditional, grand ballroom New Jersey wedding just didn’t seem like us. The Lake Valhalla Club was the perfect combination of rustic charm and elegance and we could picture celebrating the night away with all our favorite people there. Our wedding style was rustic and whimsical! The way we incorporated our own style and personalities into our wedding was by adding personal touches and some DIY projects. I designed our menu cards, programs and place cards. I also made the burlap table runners and lace votives. Thanks to Tami Melissa Photography for capturing this wedding and sharing it with us.

One of the best decisions we made was to do a “first look”. It was a decision I struggled with because I didn’t want it to take away from that moment when Kevin would see me walking down the aisle but looking back, we couldn’t be happier that we had the first look because it was such a special moment and was one of the best moments of the day for both of us. I will never forget the look on Kevin’s face and his reaction seeing me for the first time. And to my surprise seeing each other beforehand did not take anything away from the special moment of walking down the aisle!
