On September 8, 2012 Alisa and David were wed in the hills of Hermann, Missouri under the shade of a majestic oak tree. Surrounded by the dearest of family and friends, Alisa was accompanied down the aisle by both of her parents as David’s brothers sang an old Quaker hymn, “Simple Gifts” accompanied by a local dulcimer player. After the ceremony, the newly married couple, bridal party and guests processed up to the highest point in the Herman valley to enjoy the sunset and celebrate with a champagne toast. Lining the pathway were white luminaries bearing prayers, well-wishes and blessings from friends and family near and far. Guests were then transported via trolley back to the Hermannhof Mill at the Hermannhof Inn and Winery, where they dined and celebrated David and Alisa’s new life together.Love Is Sweet Wedding SignRustic Wedding Reception Rustic Bride And GroomVintage Wedding CenterpiecesWinery Style WeddingIndustrial Style BrideRustic Vintage WeddingWedding Cake For A Vintage WeddingWedding At A Winery

[…] Alisa and David live on the East Coast, but traveled through Missouri once on a roadtrip and decided to come back to Hermann for their wedding. They had the most unique day, beginning with a whiffle ball game and concert at the local church by David, his brothers and mother before their intimate ceremony under a giant oak tree. After the kiss, the newlyweds led their guests on a sunset walk lined by luminaries decorated with messages and well wishes from friends and family. The walk ended with a champagne toast high on a hill overlooking Hermann as the sun went down over the river. There was so much love and happiness to witness this day!
