Allison and Marc chose the perfect San Diego venue for their wedding. The pops of color in this wedding are a treat for everyone’s eyes and their sartorial style let this wedding truly define Rustic Chic! From the photographer : Allison and Marc were married at the beautiful Quail Haven Farm in San Diego, California. Their ceremony took place on the gorgeous green lawn surrounded by forest trees and featured a children’s brigade of 16 of their closest friends’ adorable young sons and daughters. Allison’s color choices were perfect against the green background of the farm: pale pinks and creams for her bridesmaids, while the groomsmen wore tan suits. Marc set himself apart with a navy suit and showcased the day’s pop color–orange– in his tie choice. The orange really made a statement at the reception, where it contrasted amazingly with the white tablecloths and burlap runners. Decorative flowers ranged from light orange and cream roses to luscious green succulents mixed together in wood crates as the farm style table centerpieces. To add to the rustic and delicate mix, china plates sat at each place setting and lace embellished the burlap runners and candle covers. With so many children in the mix, the reception felt like one big family party. The dance floor was always hopping with both little and big feet showing off their moves and many trips were taken to the barn to see the friendly horses. The beautiful red barn was a great spot for pictures of the bride and groom, especially once dusk hit and the lights came on. And instead of the traditional wedding cake, guests were served root beer floats in mason jars! Marc and Allison did an amazing job creating an event that was fun and welcoming to all their guests–young and old. This is the type of wedding we love so much–beautifully decorated, fun and friendly people, slightly nontraditional, and just an overall good time. We would like to thank Next to Me Studios for capturing this wedding on film and sharing it with us!
