The lovely Grace Maralyn Estate & Gardens in San Luis Obispo County, on California’s central coast was the perfect setting for this colorful backyard-style garden wedding. Molly and Ryan started planning early which gave them plenty of time to work on lots of DIY projects that not only saved them money, but added a personal touch to all of the wedding details. Molly shared with us: “The inspiration behind the design came from my love of bright warm colors with refreshing accents. Our color scheme included many shades of coral and melon along with cool deep greens and of course, my weakness, gold. Our wedding was a bright summery, garden affaire. We feasted on lamb, grass-fed beef and salmon burgers on homemade buns and a number of beautiful summer salads all created by a talented local chef.” A rustic photo booth in the barn and the arrival of a vintage ice cream truck added to the fun. Their exit was classy indeed in a Packard 120 circa 1940. Thanks to photographer Sarah Kathleen for sending us this charming garden wedding. Planning a garden wedding?
