Okay, all you country brides get ready to start taking notes because this wedding is a country showstopper. From a bride in a jean jacket to DIY wedding centerpieces this wedding has it all. Taking place on a farm in Michigan, Meg and Cody decorated their day from top to bottom with country charm and rustic wedding elegance. I love how the jean jackets look with the bridesmaids dress and I think it is actually kind of cute with the wedding gown for the reception. Any of you brides thinking of adding a sweater or jacket to your wedding dress? Thank to Stephanie Karen Photography for sharing this wedding with us today and giving us some behind the scenes info about the big day: Meg and Cody’s rustic farm wedding was beautiful. The weather in Michigan is known for being unpredictable and mother nature delivered rain, cold wind and even a tiny bit of hail…after the ceremony the cold wind died down slightly and the sun began to shine through the clouds. The entire time Meg and Cody were in good spirits and relaxed.
Meg put in a lot of time making decor for her wedding. Handmade centerpieces and cake display, burlap napkin holders adorned with flower/heart cutouts from old hymnals, mason jars with striped turquoise paper straws, center aisle logs cut and stamped with the letter D for the last name Day.
It sounds like this bride and groom had to live through rain and wind on their wedding day.
