This rustic chic wedding project is a beautiful and festive twist on a traditional place card! Using a stamp kit and small brown paper bags, you can easily create candlelit place settings for each of your guests. This would be ideal in an evening reception in an old barn or in a dimly lit outdoor setting. One note is to be extra careful if using real candles! Weighing the bags down with rocks or sand is a very important step that should not be skipped! The slightest breeze could knock these over and which could result in more candlelight than you would like at your wedding. Also make sure when you are placing the candles in the bags that they go in the center and not too close to the side. Trimming the bags to be roughly square is also important as far as reducing the risk of fire. If you are too worried about it, you could always opt for LED candles which I recently saw at World Market! Team these place cards with a table full of lanterns and you have one amazing look.
