Yes, that was the word we kept saying over and over again when this pretty little inspiration shoot showed up in our submission box! We love how simple it is yet how perfectly rustic! From the photographer: It all came together on the tightest of budgets. This was a true DIY event! We rented a small private farmhouse in the Northeast Kingdom of Vermont, and had the vow renewal ceremony in a wooded area on the property. For the backdrop, we wrapped doilies around twine, and strung them between the trees. Michelle’s floral crown was fashioned from rosemary and silk flowers. We picked up a large mixed bouquet of flowers and a few succulent plants from a local florist to create the bouquet, boutonniere, and table arrangement, supplementing with wildflowers found on the property. I baked and assembled a carrot cake, topped with an air plant and wildflowers, and created simple place settings with white plates accented by sprigs of rosemary, and vintage silverware picked up at a local flea market. Thank you to Leona Campbell Photography for sharing this wonderful inspiration shoot with us today!
