Rustic romance is really the name of this wedding today! Taking place on the family property of the groom’s family, this wedding epitomizes an elegant rustic style wedding. I love everything about this wedding from the Teepee to the outdoor ceremony, this wedding is perfection. From the bride: Our wedding was truly a community celebration- and very much a community effort. Hand-sewn pennants adorned the wedding site, relatives and friends of friends arrived with home cooked pies in hand, and neighbors spent nearly a week marinating beef that they would later roast on site throughout our wedding day. Thanks to Terra Rothman Photography for sharing this wedding with us today.
Our families spent the week before the wedding preparing food, painting signs, and laughing together as fall rain storms flooded the dusty fields just days before, but on the morning of the wedding, the sun came out and blanked all our efforts in a golden hue. We said our vows under the Ponderosa pines surrounded by generations of love, community, and gratitude. The day ended with a rockin’ hoedown and wool blankets under stars.
