Jennie & Eddie’s wedding was truly unique! When we saw we knew we had to share it. We love the bright color palette and the use of recycled bottles throughout. The bride sent us some of her thoughts about the wedding which really make these photographs extra meaningful : From the moment we got engaged, we knew we wanted to have a wedding that was simple, laid back and very “us” The Ranch at Bandy Canyon is a gorgeous venue with so many unique characteristics and we knew without question that was where we wanted to get married. We didn’t want things to look too “perfect” because that’s not who we are. Our wedding was certainly handmade and “all hands on deck” with Eddie having built the planter box centerpieces (we collected the beer and soda bottles for the entire year) and food card holders, and designed all of our printed materials and logo. So many of our family and friends jumped in to help make our wedding day vision come true. Some special things about the day that really stood out were the ways that we decided to honor Eddie’s mom who passed away unexpectedly in the year leading up to the wedding. I surprised Eddie with a mariachi band because that was something his mom really wanted us to have at the wedding (his reaction was so worth it). We also put cholula bottles with toothpicks on each table (since we had BBQ, it helped!) because his mom always had those on their dining room table growing up. We love good food, “funky sodas’ (as Eddie calls them), craft beer, and cheese so we made a point to have an ample amount of each for our guests to enjoy. We even gave away bottle cap magnet favors with our logo. We danced the night away, laughed, and cried more than we could have ever hoped.
