Erika and Ken honored both heritages when they were wed on her family farm this Spring. They were married in a Quaker ceremony under tall trees, encircled by family and friends who were all invited to be a part of the wedding party which is the Quaker tradition. The reception was held in the barn decorated with over 1000 perfect origami cranes that had been folded and strung from the rafters. Peacock feathers in the flowers and bouquets inspired the rich color palette of vibrant blue, purple and turquoise. The wedding was geared for fun with a giant cow bouncy house and yard games enjoyed by all. The evening ended with a sparkler and fireworks send off. Thanks to Danielle Evans Photography for sharing this very intimate and fun loving farm wedding. Are you touched by the simplicity and inclusiveness of a Quaker wedding ceremony?
